M. Suliman Akrami is a seasoned and accomplished former diplomat with more than 17 years of professional experience in foreign relations, international cooperation, immigration affairs, and economic diplomacy.

During his distinguished diplomatic career, he served in diplomatic missions of Afghanistan in Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and the Netherlands, where he contributed to strengthening bilateral relations, facilitating political dialogue, and promoting economic and regional cooperation. He also played an active role in representing Afghanistan at international conferences, diplomatic forums, and multilateral meetings.

Mr. Akrami possesses extensive expertise in negotiation, strategic communication, policy development, and international engagement, with an in-depth understanding of the political and economic dynamics of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asia.

Throughout his service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, he made significant contributions to the implementation and advancement of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, particularly in the areas of regional diplomacy, international cooperation, and engagement with global institutions. His professional experience includes cooperation related to international organizations such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).

Currently, Mr. Akrami works with VluchtelingenWerk Nederland (VWN) in The Hague, where he supports refugee communities through counseling, guidance, and advocacy services.

As the Founder and President of the Roshani Rah Foundation, he is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities, promoting education and social integration, and creating sustainable opportunities for refugees and migrants. Under his leadership, the foundation strives to serve as a bridge between communities, public institutions, and humanitarian partners.
